Withdrawing from the CNA program

If you need to cancel, here is how the refund is calculated and how to request it. Use the calculator below to estimate your refund before you submit the official request.

The policy

Two ways a refund is figured

Which policy applies depends on whether you cancel on or before your first day of class, or on Day 2 or later.

On or before Day 1

Full refund

Cancel before or on the first day of class and your $200 registration fee is refunded. Your tuition is returned in full, using the pro-rated computation.

From Day 2 onward

Pro-rated refund

Leave once class has begun and you are refunded for the portion of the program you did not complete — less the $200 registration fee and the cost of the book and/or uniform.

Email the School Registrar to let CAL ACE know you are withdrawing. Include your name and cohort.
